Description
We are looking for a Frontend-Focused QA Engineer to join our team, responsible for validating core web application components and ensuring a seamless integration within the product while maintaining a high-quality user experience. This role is ideal for a QA professional with strong frontend testing expertise, focusing on UI functionality, UX/UI consistency, and cross-browser compatibility. While primarily frontend-focused, this position also involves API validation to ensure proper backend integration. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to maintain and improve the quality of our core web platform. What You’ll Do: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans. Perform UI testing, ensuring web applications are functional, responsive, and aligned with UX/UI standards. Work closely with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality feature releases. Use various testing tools (Postman, Swagger, browser dev tools) to validate web behaviors, API interactions, and backend responses. Test UI components using Storybook, ensuring proper rendering, interactions, and design consistency across different use cases. Operate in a cloud-based environment (AWS preferred) to test and validate infrastructure components. Requirements You’ll do it using: 3+ years of experience in manual QA, with a strong focus on frontend (web UI) testing. Hands-on experience in testing modern web applications, with a strong understanding of React-based UI behavior and cross-browser testing. Familiarity with UI testing tools such as Storybook for component validation API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, and defect tracking tools. Background in test automation frameworks for UI testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) – an advantage Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools – an advantage Experience in the insurance or banking industries – an advantage English proficiency (written and verbal).
