Job Title: QA Engineer Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday Location: Home based, fully remote within the UK or based in our Sheffield or Plymouth office Salary: Up to £29,000, depending on experience As a QA Engineer at Medigold Health, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of our digital applications, working closely with developers, product owners and delivery teams to support high-quality releases. You will design and execute detailed test suites based on BDD requirements, using tools such as Jira, Gherkin and Playwright to validate functionality across web applications and APIs. From exploratory and regression testing to cross-browser and cross-environment validation, you will help identify issues early and provide clear, actionable feedback that drives continuous improvement. You will also contribute to the growth of our automated testing capability, extending and maintaining Playwright test suites and helping evolve our testing tools and processes. Main Objectives Produce detailed test suites and executions against BDD requirements within Jira. Work against those BDD requirements using gherkin syntax for easy correlation. Provide and track system feedback during design and testing phases that ensure highest quality delivery. Continually improve the used testing toolset finding new and better ways of ensuring our applications are at their very best. Help extend and maintain test automation suites using Playwright tooling. Specific Responsibilities Testing web application UIs to defined acceptance criteria. Extending and maintaining Playwright test suites using Playwright tooling. Testing REST API services using Postman. Cross environment and browser testing. Test suite creation using gherkin syntax from requirement specifications and acceptance criteria. Replicating and debugging issues, gathering recreation steps as required. Using JIRA to log and manage issues. Product regression testing. Participation in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
