JOB DESCRIPTION:

Onset Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer to provide software testing services and quality assurance support. The role focuses on analyzing user requirements, designing and executing test cases, performing manual and automated testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in testing complex web applications, SQL, API testing, and automation tools, with experience in performance and accessibility testing as a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years testing complex web applications.
• 8+ years testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 5+ years advanced database/SQL experience.
• 3+ years experience with API testing (JSON, XML).
• 2+ years experience with performance testing tools (WAPT Pro, JMeter, or similar).

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience testing reports.
• 3+ years experience in API testing (SOAP and REST).
• 2+ years experience with Zephyr Scale.
• 2+ years experience with Jira.

• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel reports.
• Report and document all issues, test cases executed, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
