Your role as a QA Engineer will be integral to the success of this ambitious venture.

As a Quality Engineer, you will support quality initiatives by implementing and enhancing quality management strategies, processes, and systems. You will collaborate with other leads to direct the deployment and improvement of Quality Management Systems, ensuring they align with stakeholder requirements. Anticipating regulatory conditions, you will develop processes that comply with applicable regulations. You will deploy quality metrics and lead efforts to track them accurately, driving standardization, methodology development, and supplier empowerment programs for continuous improvement in quality programs.
You will champion the development and management of essential quality operation processes, manage and audit the supply chain for critical components and supplies, and assist with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and documentation requirements per client specifications. Providing assistance, training, and communicating company quality policies to all staff will be part of your role, along with offering information and guidance to the management team.
You will conduct internal and external audits, identifying and communicating areas for corrective or improvement action. Managing the non-conformance process, including investigations using 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and 8D methodologies, and reviewing material certifications before submission to the documents team, will be key tasks. You will implement, maintain, and audit plant systems, processes, and procedures in line with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and monitor the effectiveness of quality programs to ensure compliance with business principles, policies, and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Educated to degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • Quality certification such as auditor, PCQI or similar.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Quality management activities within the energy, renewable energy, natural resources or construction management sector.
  • Desirable Experience: Experience of implementing Integrated Systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of world-class quality assurance and manufacturing methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Expert knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
