Stronghold Global is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our development team and take ownership of ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of our product development lifecycle, working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver robust, scalable, and secure applications.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, designing automated test scripts, and managing the quality assurance process from development through to release. You will collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects early, ensure compliance with coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes. This role will also require some project management skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, pytest, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems (GitHub Issues).
  • Good understanding of version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Implement automated regression and integration testing across the technology stack.
  • Monitor software performance, security, and scalability during test phases.
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of QA processes and tools.
  • Support release management to ensure reliable deployments.
