REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 3-5 years of QA experience, with a strong grasp of testing processes across the software lifecycle and test architecture design, automation solutions and principles.
  • Proven ability to automate tests for REST APIs using Java/Kotlin.
  • Expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement in testing practices.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and test architecture enhancements.
  • Conduct API testing using Java/Kotlin and ensure smooth integration with third-party components like Elastic and Apigee Edge (our DevOps related development in mostly done in Python).
  • Oversee performance testing with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.
  • Mentor junior team members and act as the QA point of contact for business stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the DevOps team in AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Cloudformation etc.) and ensure proper CI/CD pipeline configurations.
  • Take a proactive role in client-facing interactions, resolving issues and ensuring a seamless experience.
