What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Taking end-to-end ownership of quality across user stories, from defining the test approach through to execution, evidence and sign-off
• Designing, developing and maintaining automated tests across UI, APIs and backend services
• Building and improving reliable and maintainable automation frameworks
• Testing REST APIs, including positive and negative scenarios, authentication, authorisation and role-based access
• Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, reusable scenarios and test reporting
• Planning and undertaking regression, acceptance and exploratory testing
• Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitoring test execution
• Troubleshooting failed and flaky tests and identifying underlying root causes
• Supporting test environments and test data
• Working closely with software engineers, Product Owners and technical stakeholders to identify quality risks early
• Promoting shift-left testing and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Contributing to continuous improvement of QA standards, automation, processes and quality gates
• Applying risk-based testing approaches to ensure testing effort is focused where it delivers the greatest value
