Job description – QA Engineer – Temporary position Join us in a 10-month temporary role, with a strong opportunity to grow into a permanent position We are a global team developing state-of-the-art surgical training simulators. At Surgical Science, we value curiosity and innovation while maintaining stability and growth. Our mission is to bring advanced surgical training to healthcare professionals, enabling efficient training without patient risk. This role involves testing VR battlefield medical simulations with intense, high-stress emergency scenarios. Candidates should be prepared for challenging content and prolonged VR use. Medical field experience is highly beneficial for understanding clinical workflows under pressure. The role: Design manual tests that cover software requirements for a highly multidisciplinary product (hardware, software, algorithm, etc) Execute manual test cases, analyze results, and report bugs. Work with the product team and Development to ensure effective testing strategies Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing To succeed in this role, we think you have: At least 3 years of experience as a manual software QA engineer – A must. Experienced with writing test documentation (STD / STP / STR) – A must. Experienced with bug tracking systems (preferred JIRA) – A must. A. in Medical Engineering or equivalent or ISTQB Certified- A must. Experience in working in a medical or simulator company - An advantage. Medical/healthcare background (EMT, paramedic, nursing, etc.) - An advantage. Good system analysis skills. Ability to understand system requirements and their match to actual deliverables. Team player, able to work independently, self-motivated, self-learner, detail-oriented, and organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. – A must.
