Job Description The Role: The QA Engineer will be integral in enhancing our platform infrastructure by improving technical capabilities and optimizing customer and software engineer experiences. This role offers the opportunity to impact the future direction of our platform and applications under the guidance and mentorship of a Senior QA Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with development teams to understand and refine business requirements ensuring software solutions align with business goals. Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures, both manually and using automated tools, under the guidance of a Senior QA Engineer. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through systems like Jira. Participate in the creation and enhancement of QA procedures to improve integration testing across product life cycles. Assist in the mentoring and training of junior team members in QA methodologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA tools and processes. Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proficient in manual and automated testing, with a strong background in tools like Jenkins, and CircleCI, and experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. Extensive experience with test case design and bug-tracking systems such as Jira. Demonstrated experience in an Agile development environment and familiarity with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) processes. Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and PHP is a plus. Experience with API and integration testing is crucial, as these are significant activities at Third Bridge Desired Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under the supervision of Senior QA staff. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A proactive learner keen on adopting new technologies and best practices in QA. The team-oriented mindset with a strong capability to work collaboratively.
