Your role

As a QA Engineer, you help maintain the high quality of our products.

You collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other QA colleagues across multiple product teams. You test new functionality, help prevent regressions, and contribute to the further automation of our tests.

What sets Twelve apart is the combination of software and hardware. You test not only web applications and APIs, but also their integration with POS terminals, payment equipment, scanners, kitchen screens, and other hardware used daily in practice.

You are curious, critical, and practically minded. You enjoy truly understanding software and finding problems before customers encounter them.

What you are going to do

Functional testing of new functionality
Executing and maintaining regression tests
Setting up and expanding test automation
Testing APIs, integrations, and user interfaces
Testing software in combination with hardware such as POS terminals, payment equipment, scanners, and kitchen screens
Collaborate with engineers to quickly reproduce and resolve bugs
Contributing ideas regarding acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Assisting with releases and quality checks
Identifying quality risks and areas for improvement within products and processes
Contribute to a pragmatic QA approach that suits a growing product organization

You are someone who…

Has experience as a QA Engineer within software development
Has experience with both manual testing and test automation
Has experience with testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tooling
Has experience with Postman (or similar tooling) for testing and validating APIs
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tooling for backlog management, test management, and CI/CD processes
Has knowledge of programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, or similar
Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

A nice bonus...

Experience with SaaS products
Experience with hardware in combination with software
Relevant certification, such as ISTQB, TMAP, or similar
Experience within a product organization or scale-up
