Job Description
Vircom is looking for a talented QA Engineer to be part of a team involved in the building of web applications from the ground up. The development team is working on value-added products in the cyber security field. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with the best-in-class software developers and to be a part of a growing agile team in a flexible environment with an exceptional work-life balance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid understanding of End-to-end Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience in exploratory, functional, performance, and regression testing
• Exceptional communication skills and proven experience in collaborating with development, PM, and other QA team members
• Ability to analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design, to build a strategy to test it as well as to perform root cause analysis for customers’ issues
• 3+ years of experience in API testing, Web Services, REST API, and UI Testing
• CI/CD knowledge
• Working experience within an Agile environment
• Good knowledge of computer networking
• Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” attitude
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of MS SQL or similar database technologies

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Vircom est à la recherche d’un(e) Ingénieur(e) QA talentueux(se) pour se joindre à une équipe qui conçoit des applications web à partir de zéro. L’équipe de développement travaille sur des produits à valeur ajoutée dans le domaine de la cybersécurité. Le ou la candidat(e) retenu(e) aura l’occasion de collaborer avec des développeurs de haut niveau et de faire partie d’une équipe agile en pleine croissance, dans un environnement flexible favorisant un excellent équilibre travail-vie personnelle.

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for software applications across various platforms, including mobile and web.
• Utilize tools such as TestNG and Selenium to automate testing processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies.
