This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2200000 (ie INR 5-22 LPA) Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in automation testing and networking fundamentals. The role focuses on building and maintaining network test environments, automating API and UI test cases, executing regression suites, and ensuring high-quality delivery of networking features. You will collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams, analyze test results, and actively contribute to improving test coverage, stability, and automation processes. Key Responsibilities Build, configure, and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network testbeds. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for networking features using Python. Perform API automation testing and UI automation using Selenium. Execute, monitor, and maintain regression test suites. Document automation workflows, regression processes, and test execution results. Analyze regression failures, identify root causes, and fix automation issues. Log defects and failed test cases in Jira with clear reproduction steps. Participate in QA reviews, stand-ups, and technical discussions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test readiness and release quality. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Python-based automation testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation. Solid knowledge of REST API testing and automation. Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols (Layer 2 / Layer 3). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. Experience working in defect tracking tools such as Jira. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with the Pytest framework. Prior experience in network testing environments. Required Experience 4–6 years of relevant experience in QA automation and testing.
