TECHNICAL QA ENGINEER (REACT / TYPESCRIPT) (FULL TIME - REMOTE - LATAM)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Tech QA Engineer with technical expertise to join our engineering and product team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can balance QA responsibilities with technical problem-solving. We’re looking for someone who can dive in and take responsibility where needed, whether debugging issues, analyzing system inefficiencies, refactoring code, or optimizing QA processes. We would love someone fearless, versatile, curious, and can jump right in to get the job done. You will be given a lot of independence in your work and a real opportunity to influence the product meaningfully.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You are the perfect candidate if you have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance for web applications.
- Experience working as an engineer for web applications.
- Proficiency in React framework and up-to-date with the latest version and best practices.- Experience with unit testing and code linting.
- Experience in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Strong technical writing skills to document issues.
- Effective communication with engineers and product stakeholders.
- Love solving complex engineering problems and challenges.
- Enough discipline to accommodate a flexible & remote workflow.
- A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork over being right..
- Curiosity and a deep desire to learn.- Fluency in English.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role involves working closely with our product & engineering team on our web SaaS product, YouNoodle Compete. You will be helping build new features, squash bugs, and test; therefore, investigation and logic should come naturally to you as they do to Sherlock. You will help the engineering team to assist with detailed technical guidance on issues and non-technical noodlers with product issues and requests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough QA testing of new features and updates to identify bugs and issues.
• Analyze, speculate on, and propose technical solutions for issues and potential root causes.
• Address and resolve straightforward or non-complex bugs/fixes directly within our codebase.
• Write, debug, and maintain test scripts using automation tools.
• Maintain and improve the QA process, tools, and documentation.
• Write clear and technical descriptions of issues and fixes, detailing the requirements, steps to reproduce, and resolutions.
