We’re looking for an experienced and driven QA Quality Improvement Specialist to support quality and process improvement initiatives across our three manufacturing sites. This is a technically focused role requiring strong cross-functional collaboration with site teams and Group Functions.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Act as the Business Unit lead for PEP implementation across all Yogurt and Dessert sites, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and technical input.
  • Set and manage the VPO (Value-Driven Production Operations) budget for your area in collaboration with BU colleagues.
  • Drive the transition to a paperless Quality Management System, improving IT systems and SAP-based tools for efficient data use.
  • Lead validation and verification programmes for CIP/SIP processes across the Business Unit.
  • Champion VPO initiatives and support cost-effective recipe changes and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain systems to monitor quality and food safety performance.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality and spoilage issues.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional standards and company values.
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across sites and support the development of operational strategy.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead quality-related elements of CI projects in line with business and operational goals.
  • Support quality systems during commissioning of new assets and manage small capital quality improvement projects.
  • Oversee specification management for NPD and MEK changes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure ingredient information is approved and available pre-launch.
  • Manage pack copy briefs and artwork processes using PAS Media.
  • Ensure all NPD documentation meets BRC and third-party certification standards.
