Summary Description Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, ensure products meet company, client, and industry standards by inspecting raw material, WIP, and finished goods. Responsible for understanding all procedures and work instructions, and the application of procedures to the actual work environment. Normal work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime as required. Duties And Responsibilities Inspection of materials as per customer prints by using calipers or gauges while maintaining detailed documentation. Identify, report, stop, and remove non-compliant items while understanding PTI’s QMS system. Inspections Examine raw materials and supplier certificates to ensure compliance with the PO and internal specifications. Inspect dimensions of WIP and finished goods to ensure parts match the customer prints. Follow the checklist process and measure the cardboard dimensions against the customer's prints to ensure programming is correct before producing parts for the first time. First Articles/PPAP Help with processing First Articles and PPAP requirements as needed, Compliance Verification Compliance Verification Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure products meet standards. Ensure internal aerospace testing meets specifications and that documentation is sent to customers. Understand and maintain records to ensure compliance with our QMS. Participate in internal audits. Non-Conformance Management Identify, document, and quarantine products that fail to meet specifications, recommending necessary corrective actions. Enter and maintain non-conformances and corrective actions within Epicor. Process Improvements Collaborate with production teams and internal customers to identify root causes of issues and improve quality. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Requirements Previous Experience in QA Inspector Role in Manufacturing. HS Diploma. Proficiency in using measurement tools and reading prints is preferred. Attention to detail and ability to spot defects. Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 would be helpful.
