SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE

Conduct product inspections, including FAI, Receiving, Final, and IPI auditing, all in accordance with customer requirements and ISO standards

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED

ENTRY LEVEL EXPERIENCE

  • 6 months in a manufacturing environment and ability to use manual and digital measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers as well as read blueprints preferred
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, OR one year of precision mechanical inspection, preferred

Responsibilities
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methods and tools to make work process improvements
  • Observe and apply department and company Safety policies and procedures
  • Directly Inspect product and record inspection reports for FAI, Receiving, Final and IPI
  • Apply and use a variety of gages, indicators, micrometers, calipers, and comparators
  • Maintain 5S condition of QA department and immediate work area
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervision
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methods and tools to make work process improvements
  • Observe and apply department and company Safety policies and procedures.
