DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about designing, developing, automating and executing test plans and cases? If so Dye & Durham are looking for a highly collaborative QA Lead to join our engineering team and help deliver high quality, IT applications that meet both customer and business needs.
This is a full-time role, ideally based in Melbourne, however for the right person we are open to those based Sydney and Brisbane as well.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• 5+ years of experience with translating user stories into functional and non-functional test artifacts in software quality assurance department
• Experienced in writing test cases, executing tests and documenting defects
• Strong communication, problem solving and documentation skills
• Sound organizational and planning skills with consistent attention to detail
• Able to use SQL queries to identify and maintain test data
• Experience in automating test cases in GitHub and merging it through CI/CD pipeline

• Collect and analyze relevant information about assigned content to prepare test plans
• Ensure good test coverage, and guarantee the quality of the delivered versions
• Identify, prioritize and perform appropriate types of testing
• Identify opportunities for test automation
• Support implementation of automated tests
• Report any anomalies found during testing
• Take ownership of tasks as assigned with minimal supervision.
• Report on project status and progress to upper management
• Create clear test documentation and defect reports using available tools and resources.
• Identify root cause of technical problems and provide logs, anticipate risk and ensure timely action.
• Update and maintain end-to-end test cases, test scripts for functional, performance and regression testing for our web-based applications
