Job Description Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction. As a QA Lead at Endava, you will be accountable for the overall quality of our software applications by defining and executing both manual and automation testing strategies. You will collaborate directly with global stakeholders and play a key role in delivering high‑quality solutions across assigned projects. Responsibilities: Lead and manage client communication, ensuring clear expectations, alignment, and proactive risk management. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and optimize test strategies, coverage, and detailed test cases across the product lifecycle. Analyze user stories and requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability. Plan, coordinate, and manage end‑to‑end test execution across all testing levels to ensure quality and alignment. Identify, document, track, and drive timely resolution of software defects. Maintain and report test evidence, test metrics, and defect metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making. Prepare, maintain, and share comprehensive test documentation to support transparency and knowledge transfer. Qualifications Technical: 5+ years of overall testing experience, including 2+ years specializing in automation testing. Proven experience in designing and building automation testing frameworks from scratch. Hands-on manual and automation expertise across both front‑end and back‑end systems. Strong understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies. Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#. Extensive experience in Web Services / API automation testing. Knowledge of BDD frameworks and practices is a plus Soft skills: Demonstrates a strong eagerness to learn and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment. Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting issues with attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset. Comfortable working in English-speaking environments, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
