Description
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Leadership: Proven experience managing or leading QA/testing teams developing multiple different products, ideally in a distributed or global setting. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior engineers. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for web (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and preferably mobile (Appium or similar). Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation. QA Mindset: Deep knowledge of modern, pragmatic QA methodologies (risk-based testing, specification by example, test automation strategy). Able to balance automation, exploratory, and manual testing as needed. Agile Experience: Hands-on experience working in agile (Scrum/Kanban) product teams, with a focus on continuous delivery and short feedback loops. Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to coach junior team members and communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and international stakeholders. Vision & Innovation: A clear vision for developing QA maturity, able to contribute to global QA strategy and drive innovation within the QA hub. Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work across time zones as needed (especially with Europe and North America). Experience: The candidate has at least 10 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance, including a minimum of 5 years as a team leader or manager.
Responsibilities
The QA Lead will manage and lead QA/testing teams developing various products, ensuring quality through effective methodologies. They will also contribute to the global QA strategy and drive innovation within the QA hub.
