QA LEAD + SAPIENS+REINSURANCE

Looking for a QA Lead who will ensure software quality by analyzing requirements, planning and executing tests, reporting defects, developing automated tests, and conducting performance and regression tests. This role will collaborate with development teams, improve QA processes, and document test cases and results to ensure the software is reliable, functional, and user-friendly before release.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 6+ years as a Quality Assurance tester.
  • Experience is required in QA Methodology and software/application testing for Insurance industry.
  • Experience with testing UI, Web services or batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
  • Experience with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in VB Script, XML, SQL or related languages.
  • Knowledge in Automation Testing Tools like HP QTP, Selenium, etc.
  • Experience with Reinsurance Software Implementation

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate is comfortable to work in a fast-paced and schedule driven environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance and testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester) can be beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze System Specifications to identify test requirements and prepare Test Cases/Scripts.
  • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective Test Plans.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Report bugs and errors to Development teams.
  • Create Logs to document various testing phases (functional, end-to-end and regression) and defects.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure Quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
