Researches error reporting and identifies trends to determine areas of focus for process improvement. Hours - Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm Duties 1. Manages and records all external med errors for quality assurance to include tracking and reporting.2. Provides education and takes steps to ensure corrective action is followed to avoid or minimize future errors.3. Researches error reporting and identifies trends to determine areas of focus for process improvement.4. Ensures regulatory compliance as it pertains to controlled substances.5. Provides in-service training to educate facilities on controlled substances and provide retraining when necessary.6. Schedules, plans, and leads regularly occurring QA meetings.7. Cross-trains in other areas of the pharmacy as schedule dictates.8. Travel (10%) including overnight stay as needed. Qualifications High school diploma with additional college classes preferred. Licenses/Certifications State Pharmacy Technician License. Experience Five (5) to seven (7) years in healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred. Exemplary computer skills that includes experience and good working knowledge of the Microsoft OfficeSuite of products.
