Job Description ABOUT THE ROLE: Manage and control the quality system in Malaysia to ensure that the activities comply with the company Quality management System, quality standard and policy. Work closely with a production team in order to ensure that they meet customer requirements and enhance the customer experience process with Avery Dennison. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE : Quality Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement quality strategies Establish quality goals and metrics, and monitor progress against these benchmarks. Identify and prioritize quality improvement opportunities. Development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures. Monitor and analyze quality performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, and manage follow-up actions to address audit findings. Maintain and update quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports. Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality criteria. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, quality performance and conduct regular supplier audits. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement. Analyze customer satisfaction data and implement measures to enhance customer experience. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Qualifications WHAT WILL BE LOOKING IN YOU FOR : 7-10 years of experience in quality management, with a minimum of 3 years in a regional or multi-site role. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with quality management systems and audit (e.g., ISO 9001, FSC audit). Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
