Job Summary: We are seeking a highly technical QA Engineering Manager to lead the quality assurance and quality engineering function across multiple enterprise platforms and delivery teams. The role requires a strong balance of leadership and hands-on technical expertise in automation, API testing, performance engineering, and DevOps-driven quality practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable QA frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation-first testing strategies in cloud-based environments. The QA Manager will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle and that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to customers. Key Responsibilities: * Define and drive the overall QA strategy, aligning it with business and product goals. * Lead and mentor QA managers, leads, and engineers across multiple teams and locations. * Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of manual and automated testing efforts. * Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. * Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. * Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and regulatory requirements. * Manage budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships related to QA. * Drive shift-left and shift-right testing practices across the SDLC. * Establish automation-first testing strategies covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing. * Implement quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure release readiness. * Lead API testing, microservices testing, and integration validation for distributed systems. * Introduce modern testing practices including test observability, test data management, and continuous testing. * Evaluate and implement emerging testing tools including AI-assisted testing solutions. * Ensure quality validation for cloud-native applications deployed on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Lead performance and reliability testing initiatives across enterprise systems.
