Are you passionate about food safety and quality? Do you have experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industry? We’re looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest food safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance across our Nantwich site. You will ensure all standards set by BRCGS, Red Tractor, and retailers are met while supporting production teams in maintaining high operational and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Food Safety & Compliance – Ensure HACCP, QMS, and GMP standards are followed. Monitor microbiological, chemical, and organoleptic testing. Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints.
  • Audits & Traceability – Lead internal audits and support third-party and retailer audits. Ensure full traceability of ingredients and finished products.
  • Supplier & Raw Material Quality – Manage supplier approvals, ingredient risk assessments, and COA verification. Identify and report supplier deviations.
  • Continuous Improvement – Monitor key quality KPIs, including customer complaints, out-of-spec results, and non-conformances. Support factory trials and new product development (NPD).
  • Training & Engagement – Train QA and production staff on food safety and hygiene. Promote a quality-focused culture and maintain strong communication across teams.
