Upper Crust Bakery is seeking a QA Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Provide overall Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Validation and Training Coordination leadership during the design, commissioning, validation and startup of new manufacturing processes
· Provide overall Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Validation and Training Coordination leadership during ongoing manufacturing operations
· Capture high level performance metrics and make recommendations for Quality systems process improvements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Food Science or related field
· 5 years QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (preferably bakery).
· 3+ years of management experience demonstrating strong leadership, managerial, employee development skills and prior success building a strong team that collaborates well
· History of interpreting and relating Quality standards for implementation in a team environment
· Flexibility in problem solving, providing direction, and work hours to meet business objectives
· Demonstrated success translating high-level business strategic objectives into detailed implementation plans to achieve those objectives
· Outstanding project management skills to create and manage work plans and timelines, handling and prioritizing multiple projects/tasks effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; success communicating, collaborating and influencing effectively on a cross-functional basis

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
