APG Workforce is seeking a QA Officer to join a well-known poultry company in Beresfield, famous for their finger-licking nuggets and chicken tenders – a household name that every Australian knows and enjoys!

Employment:

• Casual, Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
• $37.50 per hour + QC/QA Allowance ($6.46 per day)
• Potential for weekend overtime depending on operational requirements

Key Duties:

• Verify cleaning and pest control procedures
• Maintain and improve the Quality System
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits
• Manage pending, hold, and release functions
• Verify monitoring activities during production
• Check completed daily paperwork
• Prepare samples for lab testing and analyze results
• Perform data entry, filing, and reporting tasks
• Conduct end-of-shelf-life product evaluations
• Perform post-clean and environmental swabbing (including biotrace) for RTE and fully cooked products
• Conduct 2-hourly cook-ups and sensory evaluations
• Collect product samples
• Calibrate scales, Oxybaby, and thermometers
• Perform internal audit duties
• Evaluate fresh and frozen products
