  • Auditing and investigative skills.
  • Ability to train colleagues and conduct competency assessments.
  • Literate and numerate, able to write reports and complete documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Operative to join our technical team and help maintain the highest standards in product quality, food safety, and compliance. Working on-site in our factory, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet all specifications, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Using your knowledge of HACCP principles, you will monitor processes, carry out audits, investigate non-compliance, and help drive continuous improvement across the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure full compliance with company systems and procedures at all times.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records promptly, clearly, and correctly signed off and stored.
  • Conduct both random and scheduled quality checks on the production line against customer specifications.
  • Perform temperature checks on products and storage areas, following correct protocols.
  • Carry out shelf-life assessments in line with established procedures.
  • Identify and isolate sub-standard products, including raw materials, packaging, and work-in-progress items.
  • Conduct hygiene audits as directed by the technical team, using proper procedures and documentation, and report any non-compliance promptly.
