SKILLS:

3+ years’ experience in UEFI based BIOS Validations
Experience with debugging tools and techniques – UART, JTAG Debug, and Windbg
Basic programming knowledge in Python and writing scripts
Good understanding of System Validation / Platform validation on Windows OS Platforms with focus on UEFI based BIOS and firmware updates
Experience testing Secure boot, anti-roll back/rollback prevention, self-heal, and data secure protection is a plus
Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies
Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects /initiatives

Development QI (DQI) Lab in Mountain View acts as the centralized hub for quality solutions at MPS, SRA. Our mission is to provide comprehensive E2E test strategy, coverage, and automation solutions for early Issue Detection with unbiased quality assessment for MPS deliverables. DQI plays a pivotal role in developing next-gen automation tools and test solutions for products, services, and solutions built on AR/VR headsets, Android, and PC platforms.
Role Purpose:
As PC Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing of a product or feature, including requirement and design analysis, test case creation & review, manual test execution, and developing automation test for PC (Windows) focusing on UEFI based BIOS.
Create Test cases with good coverage and clear and concise writing
Understand project/features through limited documentation and able to ask quality questions to understand the bigger picture, and design a test case covering E2E
Design, develop, and maintain automation test tools
Collaborate with onsite and overseas cross-functional teams during the project life cycle for requirement gathering, design analysis, issue debugging, and fix validation
Drive the overall quality of the project, assess, report product quality risks, and ensure quality deliverables
Analyze quality metrics, identify areas of improvement, and implement innovative ideas to enhance the product quality
