REED Engineering are supporting their key client once again to source a newly created position of QA/QC Coordinator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
This position will exist to add expertise during a significant growth curve for the business.

As QA/QC Coordinator, you will mainly be maintaining and implementing Quality Management Systems through ensuring robust production standards, recommending adjustments in assembly or production processes and getting hands-on with inspection of finished goods. Due to the size of the business, your input in the wider HSE operation will be important. Other duties will include:

  • Leading standards associates to ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001
  • Implementing and continually improving a QMS
  • Liaison with QHSE Auditors to maintain accreditations
  • Internal auditing of HSE and Quality Management Systems
  • Reporting and investigating of incidents
  • QC of materials and products

To be suited to this role, we are seeking:

  • A professional who has a robust knowledge and experience of working within quality control, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of working to all, or as many of ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001 as possible
  • Candidates from a precision engineering background will be at a distinct advantage
  • Candidates who have implemented Quality Management Systems in the past will be at a distinct advantage
