REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in the aluminum, façade, or construction industry, with hands-on site experience.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and relevant industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
  • Proficient in quality control tools and techniques, including inspection methods and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Valid driving license with the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance and Control:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures for aluminum and façade projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and audits at various stages of the project to verify material quality, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure all activities align with company policies and standards.
  • Site Inspections:
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess construction processes and identify potential quality issues.
  • Document and report any deviations from established quality standards, and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure quality control measures are being followed during installation and fabrication processes.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of quality control inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
  • Prepare quality reports and presentations for management and project stakeholders, outlining findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval of material submittals, shop drawings, and inspection requests.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the QA/QC Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary training programs.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and ensure effective communication regarding quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss quality issues, status updates, and corrective actions.
