QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in the construction/contracting sector (UAE/GCC preferred).
  • Knowledge of IEC, BS, NFPA, and local authority standards.
  • Experience with high- and low-voltage electrical systems, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure that all electrical works executed on site comply with project specifications, applicable standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines, while maintaining proper documentation for quality assurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards for project compliance.
  • Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for all electrical activities.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical installations, materials, and equipment as per approved procedures.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for inspections and approvals.
  • Ensure that all electrical works comply with UAE Civil Defense and DEWA/ADDC/SEWA regulations.
  • Prepare quality-related reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Monitor calibration of electrical testing equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain proper records of inspections, test results, and QA/QC documentation for project handover.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed during electrical work execution.
