Royal Joinery has its dedicated workshop to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source subcontractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialities across a wide variety of projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.
We’re recruiting for a QA/QC Engineer (Joinery & Fit-out) who will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout all construction projects. This role plays a vital part in upholding the company’s reputation for excellence and ensuring that projects are completed successfully, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of relevant UAE experience in the joinery industry and fitout industry
  • A UAE Driving license will be advantageous

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in construction codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong command of quality control and quality assurance processes.
  • In-depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continually refine QA/QC plans for construction projects, incorporating thorough inspection and testing protocols.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with established quality standards and project specifications.
  • Scrutinise construction documentation, blueprints, and specifications to proactively identify and resolve potential quality challenges.
  • Collaborate with project teams to promptly address quality-related issues and offer technical expertise.
  • Regularly report on QA/QC progress to project stakeholders and provide insights to improve processes.
  • Ensure that all construction materials and equipment meet the requisite quality standards and certifications.
  • Execute inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components, and systems.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all QA/QC activities and generate comprehensive reports as needed.
  • Organise and deliver training sessions to educate construction teams on QA/QC best practices.
  • Engage in both internal and external quality audits and assessments.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulations pertinent to quality assurance and control.
