Job Description Position Overview We are hiring for the position of QA/QC Head for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves leading and managing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and implementing QA/QC systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving excellence in construction practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and plans for large infrastructure projects. Lead the QA/QC team to ensure effective implementation of quality measures across all project sites. Act as the primary point of contact for all QA/QC-related matters, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that all materials, equipment, and construction processes meet the required quality benchmarks. Supervise the testing and inspection of materials, equipment, and construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and method statements. Monitor and verify the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, such as ISO 9001, NBC, and IS codes. Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Investigate quality-related issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with QA/QC policies and procedures. Prepare and present detailed quality reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), audit findings, and improvement plans. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (mandatory). Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or Construction Management (preferred). Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale infrastructure projects, such as airports, shopping malls, or commercial complexes. Proven experience in project supervision and construction management with a focus on quality assurance and control. Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, standards, and best practices in construction. Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques. Familiarity with international quality certifications, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and testing procedures. Additional Information Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent). Experience in managing QA/QC for live environments, such as operational airports or malls. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
