Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description The QA/QC Lead will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems for the Lucknow project to ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Compliance Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with contract requirements. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, client specifications, and applicable Indian Standards (IS Codes). Oversee QA/QC activities for civil, structural, architectural, finishing, and MEP works (as applicable to the project). Coordinate with consultants and clients on all quality-related matters. Inspection & Testing Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures. Ensure timely inspections at all construction stages and proper documentation. Monitor material inspections, sampling, testing, and approvals at site and third-party laboratories. Ensure calibration of testing and measuring equipment. Documentation & Reporting Maintain all quality-related records such as test reports, inspection reports, NCRs, material approvals, and as-built documentation. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly QA/QC reports to the Project Manager and client. Ensure proper control and distribution of quality documents. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions Identify, issue, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Investigate root causes and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Verify closure and effectiveness of corrective actions. Team Coordination & Training Lead and mentor site QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians. Conduct quality awareness and training sessions for site teams and subcontractors. Coordinate with construction, planning, and procurement teams to ensure quality alignment. Audits & Reviews Conduct internal quality audits and support client/third-party audits. Ensure closure of audit findings within agreed timelines. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of IS codes, quality standards, and construction practices Excellent documentation, reporting, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (client, consultant, subcontractors) Leadership and team management capabilities Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems Good communication skills (written and verbal) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Compliance with Project Quality Plan Timely closure of NCRs Reduction in rework and quality-related delays Audit outcomes and client satisfaction Work Environment Site-based role at Lucknow project May require extended site presence and coordination with multiple agencies Qualifications Education: B.E./B.
