JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Mechanical Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control activities for mechanical works in our contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, familiarity with UAE construction standards, and a valid UAE driving license for site visits and project coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer in contracting/construction companies (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and associated works.
  • Familiarity with UAE construction codes, QCS, and relevant international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in QA/QC procedures, documentation, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

    Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Review and implement project quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and method statements for mechanical works.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure mechanical works comply with project specifications, codes, and approved drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
  • Perform material inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and audit construction processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Support the commissioning and testing of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
  • Ensure that all works comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
