Key responsibilities include but not restricted to:

• Conduct pre-operational checks, ATP testing, micro swabbing, and GMP audits to ensure food safety and hygiene standards
• Inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance
• Monitor production processes, including recipe adherence, temperature control, and stock rotation
• Complete quality documentation, testing records, and positive release requirements
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with audits, training, inductions, competency assessments, and maintenance of training records
• Support new product trials, sample collection, laboratory testing, and sensory evaluations
• Perform additional QA duties, including fire equipment inspections, when required

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Previous QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
• Experience with GFSI Standards (SQF preferable) and customer specific Standards
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated individual with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Food Science, Food Technology, or related qualification (preferred)
