QA/QC SPECIALIST

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (preferred), OR equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing or a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices).
• Familiarity with QMS, FDA, ISO, or industry-specific certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and applicable standards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, oils, grease, and solvents.
• Stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods.
• Occasionally push, pull, or carry light to medium weights (up to 50 pounds).
• Occasional use of hand and power tools.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, including in tight spaces.
• Occasional local travel required.

In this role, you will ensure that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for inspections, audits, and process improvements that support compliance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
