We pride ourselves on cultivating a warm, collaborative, innovative and forward-thinking workplace where every team member is empowered to shape our product's future.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA & Quality Lead specialising in FinTech and SaaS environments to oversee and enhance our software quality assurance processes.

We are looking for a thoughtful and collaborative QA & Quality Lead to champion quality assurance across our core web and mobile applications platforms.

In this role, you will be a tester and more importantly, you will be a vital bridge between our technical engineering team, our product vision, and our go-to-market strategies. By ensuring that what we promise in our marketing and brand messaging is flawlessly delivered in the user experience, you will help protect and grow our reputation. Furthermore, you will take on a leadership role in mentoring peers, shaping testing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement toward a continuous and improved user experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software testing, automation, and development methodologies, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. This role involves leading testing strategies, managing test automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software releases and better experience usability. The successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

1. Quality Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the design and evolution of our end-to-end testing strategies, shaping how we validate web and mobile fintech workflows.
  • Mentor, guide, and collaborate with junior team members and cross-functional partners, instilling a shared passion for quality, attention to detail, and user empathy.
  • Spearhead automation initiatives to streamline development cycles while cultivating a supportive, knowledge-sharing engineering culture.

2. Marketing & Product Alignment

  • Partner closely with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure that new features, user interfaces, and promotional rollouts function impeccably from a user's perspective.
  • Validate that platform user journeys match brand promises, ensuring a friction-free, intuitive experience for both borrowers and lenders.
  • Translate customer feedback and front-line insights into actionable quality improvements that enhance overall platform satisfaction.

3. Technical Execution & System Reliability

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust automated and manual test scripts for complex financial APIs, databases, and front-end portals.
  • Oversee performance, load, and security testing to ensure our lending platform remains stable, responsive, and secure under diverse operational conditions.
  • Proactively identify, track, and resolve system anomalies, working hand-in-hand with software engineers in a supportive, problem-solving environment.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and related technologies.
  • Integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
  • Conduct various types of testing including functional, system, performance (using LoadRunner), user acceptance (UAT), regression, API (REST/SOAP), and load testing to validate software quality.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects to identify underlying issues and collaborate with development teams for effective resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and industry best practices for quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support release management activities by verifying build integrity and coordinating deployment procedures.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers during requirements gathering to ensure testability and coverage of business requirements.
  • Provide technical support during testing phases and assist in troubleshooting complex issues across various operating systems including Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
