QA Regulatory Manager (Trainee / Newly Qualified QP)

Site-based with flexibility for some remote working in the long term


Location: Can be based at any UK site: Guildford, South West London, Sheffield, Preston, Stoke-on-Trent or Manchester

Are you currently working towards QP status or recently qualified and looking for an opportunity that offers genuine career development? Our client, a growing sterile pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a QA Regulatory Manager to join their Quality team.

This unique position has been designed for a Trainee QP or Newly Qualified QP, providing the opportunity to complete your QP training while gaining valuable experience across Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and QP-related activities. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance, quality systems and the manufacture of sterile pharmaceutical products across multiple UK sites.

What You'll Do

  • Support QP activities and gain exposure to batch certification processes.
  • Assist with regulatory projects, licence maintenance, variations and regulatory submissions.
  • Contribute to IMP and commercial product regulatory activities, including quality documentation and compliance support.
  • Support quality systems including deviations, CAPAs, change controls and risk assessments.
  • Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, QC and Development teams to ensure GMP compliance.
  • Assist with inspections, audits and interactions with regulatory authorities.
  • Review and approve quality documentation including SOPs, protocols and reports.
  • Develop knowledge and expertise in sterile manufacturing, aseptic processing and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

  • Working towards QP eligibility, currently enrolled on a QP programme, or recently qualified as a QP.
  • Experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Exposure to QA, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Quality Systems activities.
  • Understanding of UK/EU GMP requirements.
  • Experience within sterile, aseptic, biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Scientific degree or equivalent qualification.
