Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Specialist with a strong focus on automation testing, particularly at the API level. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies that ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, using modern tools and frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain test plans and automated test cases, with a primary focus on API automation. Design, implement, and optimize automated test suites using modern tools and technologies. Leverage tools such as Playwright, K6, Appium, WebdriverIO (wdio), TypeScript, GitHub, and Directus for testing and automation. Execute continuous testing workflows through GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Contribute to building and improving the automation frameworks in alignment with MTN Software Solutions' testing standards and guidelines. Requirements: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with a focus on API and UI testing. Strong command of TypeScript and experience working with version control systems like GitHub. Practical knowledge of automation tools: Playwright, Appium, K6, and wdio. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and agile development workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ⭐ Preferred Skills: Experience working with Directus or other headless CMS platforms. Ability to build or extend custom automation frameworks. Familiarity with performance testing principles and load testing tools.
