JOB OVERVIEW

Beacon Nutraceuticals specilizes in milling, blending, sterilization, granulation and packaging natural ingrediensts for U.S. market.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with FDA and industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with manufacturing teams to implement quality control measures and maintain compliance with CGMP, FDA regulations and other relevant standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of QA/QC experience in a food/Dietary supplement manufacturing facility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, and industry standards.
  • Experience with HACCP, GMP, FSMA, SQF, BRC, or similar certifications prefered.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software like word, excel, power point etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified SQF Practitioner, PCQI, HACCP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with audits and regulatory agency inspections.
  • Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus.

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality systems, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, SQF/BRC, etc.)
  • Investigate quality complaints and non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Take internal and external audits, including customers, third-party, and regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA, USDA, Customer Audit.)
  • Maintain and update the Food Safety and Quality Manual, SOPs, and training documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure Quality objectives are met.
  • Manage record-keeping and reporting systems related to Quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor sanitation programs and environmental testing, ensuring compliance with microbiological and allergen control standards.
  • Ensure raw materials, packaging, and finished products meet all established Quality specifications.
  • Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team and business needs.
  • Prepare compliance packets, product specs, and questionnaire responses for customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
