Job QA Specialist Description Job Title: Linguistic QA Specialist – Korea Primary Responsibilities: Conduct subtitle reviews for client content, English to Korean or Korean to English Ensure accuracy of objective errors: grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, fluency, and intent is conveyed through subtitles Escalate any issues with the subtitle quality and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues in timely manner Seek to understand and correct any language uncertainty Consult with language leads and evaluators for feedback validation, as required Train and onboard new QA Specialists, ensuring alignment with quality standards and workflows Participate in internal training sessions to stay up to date with industry standards and company processes What you bring: The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set: Extensive experience working in translation and experience subtitling Outstanding Korean and English language skills, both written and oral Must be organized, diligent, and detail-oriented Can apply good judgement and research when faced with ambiguous situations Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines Strong collaboration skills to ensure success across the team Ability to work independently yet be actively involved in communication when needed Deluxe is a global leader in media and entertainment services for film, video and online content.
