About the role We are looking for a QA Specialist with real-world veterinary clinic experience to help ensure our product truly works for the people who use it every day: veterinary teams. In this role, you’ll serve as the voice of the clinic inside the product team. You’ll test workflows, identify gaps and edge cases, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver a high-quality, intuitive experience. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in a veterinary clinic and enjoys finding problems, thinking through workflows, and advocating for end users. What you'll do Test features and workflows from the perspective of veterinary staff (technicians, assistants, doctors, and practice managers) Validate that clinical and operational workflows reflect real-world clinic operations Identify usability issues, confusing flows, and friction points before they reach customers Execute manual QA testing for new features, bug fixes, and releases Write clear, actionable bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and context Validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved Partner with Product Managers to review requirements and user stories for completeness and realism Work closely with Engineers to clarify expected behavior and edge cases Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation teams to identify recurring issues and feedback from clinics Advocate for clinic workflows, efficiency, and ease of use during product discussions Help define acceptance criteria based on real clinic needs Contribute to improving QA processes, test plans, and release readiness Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic in one or more of the following roles: Registered/Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) Veterinary Assistant Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager Strong understanding of day-to-day clinic workflows, including appointments, treatments, medical records, invoicing, and client communication Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to think critically about how users interact with software Comfortable documenting issues clearly and thoroughly Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable learning new tools and workflows quickly Why Join Us?
