Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Supervise the implementation of quality assurance systems and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless quality integration.
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, including reports and non-conformance records.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

YOU WILL BRING TO THIS ROLE:

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in a ready-to-eat environment or poultry processing (desirable).
  • External relationship building capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, quality management systems and auditing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems related to QA processes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or similar (preferred).
