Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in food safety and quality assurance? ITN Food Corporation, a leader in food production, import, and distribution, is looking for a QA Supervisor to oversee and manage our Quality Department at our Woodbridge - Vaughan, Greater Toronto Area, Canada facility.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of food industry experience with proven people management skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety risk assessment, and SQF program management (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and BRC Quality Systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Internal auditing experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain food testing labs to ensure product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food labeling and industry regulations (CFIA, Agriculture Canada, US FDA, Health Canada), including managing corresponding portals e.g. CFIA portal.
  • Develop, monitor, and update QA/QC SOPs, food safety, and production processes.
  • Manage GMP, HACCP, and BRC Quality Systems compliance and registration.
  • Oversee inventory, procurement, and maintenance of safety, cleaning supplies, and lab equipment.
  • Conduct microbiological sampling, swabbing tests, and material inspections for quality assurance.
  • Supervise warehouse, production, and retail sanitation, including weekly forklift inspections.
  • Maintain production records, Material Requisition Notes (MRNs), and machinery reports.
  • Manage scrap material sales, equipment disposal, and warehouse cleanliness.
  • Support food safety training and collaborate on bills of materials for production/packaging.
  • Log and resolve food safety incidents, damages, or customer complaints.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
