Our Quality Assurance department is the heart of our operation, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practices. As we expand, we are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our elite team.

Responsibilities

AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, ALTHOUGH ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

To deputise for the Quality Manager as required
Follow, promote and ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
To control and maintain Pharmaceutical Quality Systems
Write, review and approve quality documents (for example, deviations, change requests, CAPA, procedural documents etc.)
Support all departments with quality activities such as the raising and execution of quality documents (for example, deviations, change requests, CAPA, procedural documents, complaints, master batch records etc.)
Approval and periodic review of vendors, including identification of supply chain and creation and approval of quality agreements
Lead, participate in and review all types of investigations, Root Cause Analysis and Quality Risk Management
Lead and support internal and vendor audits
To assist with the preparation and execution of regulatory and customer audits.
Assist in regulatory agency inspections as a SME
Ensure regulatory changes are appropriately assessed for their impact
To monitor and investigate trends in Quality metrics and report to the Head of Quality
Produce data and report on performance, measuring against set key performance indicator
To lead and mentor the direct reports through regular 1:1’s
To undertake project work, as part of a multifunctional team
To identify any relevant quality-related training needs, provide training tools and deliver training
Build authentic relationships with all QPL departments and companies throughout the Target Group to ensure continuous compliance
To proactively support the businesses operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

Experience of operating in a similar role is desirable.
Demonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisions
A recognized management qualification is desirable although not essential depending on experience
Strong, up to date knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practices
Confident dealing with managers and employees at all levels
Experience working in pharmaceutical / healthcare / life sciences industry advantageous
English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent)
Highly computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software
