Description

Are you someone who’s meticulous about details and passionate about ensuring top-notch quality? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Quality Assurance Technician role! We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the quality and safety of our food products throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsible mainly for analytical testing of raw material and finished products. Generate certificates of analysis for finished products and maintain testing records in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements. Test finished products and work-in-process to determine whether or not the material meets the required specifications.

  • Ensure production is conducted within the applicable guidelines of GMP’s, CFIA and AIB regulations standards as they apply to production.
  • Test raw material and finished products; prepare samples for analysis. Perform tests and analyze the resulting data to determine product conformance to meet company and industry guidelines.
  • Microbiological analysis.
  • Calibration of production and laboratory critical instruments.
  • Perform audits, weight checks, and batch sheet documentation.
  • Conduct real-time inspections on production runs.
  • Active in various team approach initiatives
