Hawk3 Talent solutions recruiting a Quality Assurance Technician to support the QA Supervisor for one of their clients based in Wigan. We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join their team and contribute to their commitment to quality assurance.
This key role involves ensuring that all products and services adhere to agreed specifications and quality standards, while maintaining compliance with legal requirements set by the FSA.
The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate records of all quality paperwork from various departments.
- Ensuring that quality and food safety systems are fully documented and compliant with BRC Global Food standards.
- Completing assigned tasks within designated timelines.
- Assisting with customer complaints by identifying root causes and determining corrective actions while monitoring complaint trends.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Preparing for customer visits and site technical audits as necessary.
- Contributing to departmental business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and document quality paperwork from all departments.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality systems.
- Complete tasks outlined in the QA Matrix in a timely manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis and determine corrective actions for customer complaints.
- Build positive relationships with customers and external contacts.
- Facilitate customer visits and audits effectively.
- Support efforts to improve product quality, food safety standards, and reduce waste.
Experience:
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance environment.
Ideally, with experience in HACCP and Food Safety .
Skilled to plan and organise work efficiently and effectively
Proficient to operate under pressure and to short deadlines
Able to work effectively as either part of a team or as an individual
