OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a keen analytical mind and a solid understanding of quality assurance processes, including HACCP principles. The QA Technician will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Quality
o Completion of daily QA checks and tasks as required in all areas
o Completion of departmental weekly audits
o Ensuring effective communication between departments
o Completion of all procedural documentation when required
o Carrying out traceability studies where required for food safety/product quality
o Actively promoting a food safety culture within the factory to ensure all food safety requirements are met
o Auditing and monitoring the Quality Management System
Output
o To regularly review processes and continually drive improvements
Health & Safety
o Accountable for the Health & Safety of all Manufacturing Reports
o Work pro-actively with the team to deliver a safe work environment for all
Hygiene & Housekeeping
o Pest control contract management and corrective actions
o Promote a ‘clean as you go’ culture within department
