About the Role The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician I plays a key role in ensuring that all cigarette products meet established quality and regulatory standards. This position supports daily laboratory and production quality activities through routine inspections, sampling, and testing. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and maintaining high standards in a manufacturing environment. A Day In The Life Each day begins with reviewing testing priorities and preparing for sample collection across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. You’ll perform routine inspections and basic laboratory tests while following established procedures. Throughout the day, you’ll document results, maintain organized records, and support the cleanliness and functionality of the lab. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure quality standards are met and processes are followed consistently. What You Will Do   * Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods * Collect and prepare samples in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Operate basic laboratory equipment and perform standard tests * Accurately record and document test results in a timely manner * Maintain detailed and organized records of all testing activities * Support data review by ensuring accuracy and completeness of results * Assist with calibration, operation, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment * Follow all safety protocols and quality standards * Participate in QA/QC programs and continuous improvement efforts * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment * Communicate findings and escalate concerns as appropriate What You Bring   * High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or an associate degree in a scientific field preferred * 0–2 years of experience in a quality assurance or laboratory setting * Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why You Will Love Working Here Employees love working at Xcaliber International because of the company’s strong sense of community and its commitment to both internal and external service.
